Yakuza 1 & Yakuza Kiwami SECRET Boss - JO AMON

Originally a super secret boss fight in the first Yakuza game if you completed all the side missions, Jo Amon shows up to fight Kiryu. In Kiwami, they have a special dialogue before the fight begins, saying that it feels like they've known each other for 10 years already, even though they technically have not, since Kiwami is a remake of the first game itself. (I read this from somewhere in the comments section of another video. Thank you to the person who commented that. You da real MVP.) --------------------------------------------------- -- Yakuza 1 Fight -- Jo Amon is a total asshole in the first game. He has three forms: dual pistols, Fisticuffs-grenadier, and finally the Knife-based form. In each form, Amon is extremely cheap in each individual way. He will zone you out by shooting you in his pistol form, throw grenades that take out almost half your health if you charge at him often, and then he'll continuously dash in and out and take slices of health from you. And since using the Komaki Tiger Drop is pretty much ass in this game especially with the timing and clunky controls, it's pretty much suicide if you try to attack him with only your fists. The key to defeat him is to stock up on the electric sword that is offered as a victory prize from the underground tournaments. I played this shit in Japanese, so I don't understand a goddamn thing, so just look up the online guide for the PS2 game. -- Yakuza / Ryu Ga Gotoku KIWAMI Fight -- Okay, so the bastard in this game is pretty much like how he was in Majima's boss fight in Yakuza 0. At least, I think so. In Kiwami, Amon has two forms this time: a copy-cat of Kiryu's Dragon of Dojima Style (aka: the OG Kiryu FIghting Style) and a copy-cat of Majima's Mad Dog of Shimano Style (aka: Majima's Super Strong OP Knife Skills). Without relying too much on the Komaki Tiger Drop (which does a shit-ton of damage for some reason), to defeat him in this game (especially on the hardest difficulty) use Kiryu's Rush Style to constantly wave dash behind him and kick his ass with the combos. However, you might wanna try a different tactic when he pulls out his knife, because he will out-maneuver you, even on Rush Style. --------------------------------------------------- I also fought So Amon and Jo Amon in Yakuza 0.
