http://www.longplays.org Played By: Tsunao Squeenix RPG and sequel to the polarizing FFXIII, but you should already know that. Follow Serah as she meets a person from the future and goes across time to find her sister, chase a dude with a giant-ass sword, and meet a cute girl many times. "Kupo" and a chocobo lady are involved. Said chocobo lady may or may not be relevant. Still plays like FFXIII but with some changes: downed Leader =/= Game Over, monsters form the third party member and are HIGHLY customizable (in terms of abilities and stuff), revamped Crystarium, lots of sidequests (no, those missions =/= sidequests.), and puzzles, which FFXIII LACKED! (well, there was one as far as I know: navigating the Taejin Tower, but that is irrelevant since the area had missions. Maybe triggering the The Undying fight is a puzzle.) I bumrush through the game for the story while avoid some sidequests (they derail the flow of the longplay). I REALLY don't need the sidequests as the game is pretty easy without them (though the final dungeon and last few fights are pretty tough. Sentinel became relevant.). Some are done though along the way. I control Serah as she is faster than Noel when doing pretty much ANYTHING, even using physical attacks with Sword (Bow is fail). I do take a few detours (Archylte Steppe for Cloudburst and Vile Peaks for Yakshini off screen.) Did Episode 3 out of order so I can get Moogle Throw. Nothing of value was lost doing it this way. Episode 4 is split into many parts (well, 3) because it is pretty damn long. -_- (either that or the many fights.). After completing the game, I go through the optional areas, do sidequests, and get all 160 Fragments (including slot machine fragment and Bestiary fragment. -_-) and view the Secret Ending, which DEMANDS all 160 ragments. For Bestiary shenaningans, I fight the "swirly vortex" monsters attlemania makes them appear more often) as well as some somewhat-rare monsters and conditional(?) monsters (Giant Cactuar). For those who don't want to see all the filler for Fragments (sidequests), you can just download Part 19 (Secret Ending). You will have to sit through the boss rush. It isn't all that bad. =P Was it necessary? Yes. Parts: 1 - Episode 1 2 - Episode 2 3 - Episode 3 Part 2 4 - Episode 3 Part 1 5 - Episode 4 (Academia) 6 - Episode 4 (Augusta Tower) 7 - Episode 4 (Academia) 8 - Episode 5 9 - The Final Episode 10 - Sidequests: Wild Artefacts/Crystal Gates, Archylte Steppe Cactuars (almost) 11 - Sidequests: Vile Peak, Augusta Tower/Paradox Ending 12 - Sidequests: Bresha Ruins/Paradox Ending 13 - Sidequests: Yaschas Massif 14 - Sidequests: Sunleth Waterscape/Paradox Ending, A Dying World Fragments 15 - Sidequests: Oerba/Paradox Ending 16 - Sidequests: 100% Map Fragments, Long Gui, Ochu, The Immortal, Yomi 17 - Sidequests: Academia Quizzes/Fragments, Paradox Endings 18 - Sidequests: Bestiary Filling, Chocobo Racing, Serendipity Fragments 19 - Secret Ending
