WWI & WWII Display, Great Dorset Steam Fair, August 2019

On Sunday, 26th August I travelled to the Great Dorset Steam Fair, located just outside Tarrant Hinton, the Great Dorset Steam Fair covers over 600 acres, and is reputed to be the largest collection of steam and vintage equipment in the world! Towards the back of the site, we find a section which continues to expand year on year, the WWI and WWII display feature recreated trenches, buildings, hospitals and vehicles on display, immersing you back on time into the two periods of time they aim to recreate, with a new tunnel tour (sadly not done this year) and now with live music too (sadly missed too) there is a lot to do in this relatively small section of the site, but with the exhibitors in full uniform, it's a section not to be missed.
