WPL C24 brushless motor installation on 2 speed gearbox

The 370 motor on the 2 speed gearbox is 24.5mm in diameter, and 35mm length with a 2mm shaft. A 2435 brushless motor would be a direct fit, but 2440 (24mm diameter, 40mm length, 2.3mm shaft) is the closest I could find.
