Step #2 go to menu #16 and press "Menu" to enter the PL code (i.e. 136.5). Step #3 go to menu #23 and press "Menu" to enter the offset (.600 KHz for 2m / 5.0 MHz for 70CM). Step #4 go to menu #24 and press "Menu" to enter the Shift, either -, +, or Off (Use Off for Simplex). Step #5 go to menu #27 and press "Menu" to enter the memory channel location (black means it is used, Blue means it is vacant) then press exit. Step #6 go to menu #26 and press "Menu" to enter a channel name. you can use the "up" arrow key to enter the letter or symbol needed, the "down" arrow moves to the next spot.
