Wouxun KG-699E First Look (400-470mhz)

Here is the cheap single band version from Wouxun. 400-480mhz and YES for those that email me it WILL WORK ON PMR446mhz although totally illegal to do so. 1300mAh battery, belt clip, drop in charger, 4watts, CTSS,DCS, Vox and also FM Radio for the times when 70cms is quiet so you sleep better with music than white noise. Nice toy for those who have the novice license and of course works well on echolink, frn, eqso and others. Price is around 75euro and of course accessories are available as is the programming software from www.wouxun.com and trust me invest in it!! And for the boring old farts who seem to laugh at nothing on 70cms these days and moan, groan and bitch about "the radio works out of band" YES it does, so forget it and stick to your 140year old radio that always works. This is not for you.... Buy yourself a locked Yaesu, Kenwood or Icom and allow those who like a choice to have that choice.
