WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE PROMOTIONAL VIDEO - Renee Harvey

On Saturday, March 13, 2010, Townsville radio and local celebrity Renee Harvey gave her long, chocolate locks the chop in the name of charity. Renee participated in the "World's Greatest Shave" in a bid to raise money in the name of cancer research. Scores of onlookers gathered at Willows Shopping Town to witness Renee's brunette tresses go under the knife (or more accurately, scissors). For her hair and her efforts, Renee raised over $14 000 for this worthy cause. Sporting her new "crew do," Renee revealed her new look at another fundraiser later that evening. She kicked up her heels and swivelled her hips as a participant in Townsville's inaugural charity ball "So You Wish You Could Dance?" The charity ball was hosted by the "Make A Wish Foundation," an organisation supporting children suffering a life-threatening illness. Renee has been involved in fundraising and volunteer work for a number of years. Her contributions in the name of charity are as much selfless as they are appreciated.
