There are times in between the gun fire, bombs, body parts and death... images of war that the general public rarely if ever is made aware. This video contains images of a side of war that doesn't boost ratings but is a part of daily life for the men of war but without the blood, guns and fear. These are authentic war-time images of men who fought in World War II, members of the United States military, Allied Forces and German Soldiers. It's unbelievable that these men can smile and laugh because this was not a war that was fought with technology, unmanned airplanes/drones and smart bombs. this was a war that was fought on the ground, face to face. They looked the enemy in the eye, they saw the human being behind the uniform... then fired their weapon. That is the true horror of war!
