RKSM World Record
In the summer 2014, in July the OBO Bettermann Poland team wished to make a World Record in laying cable trays in the distance of one kilometer. This summer heat reached 35 centigrade and in such conditions the team of four undertook this difficult challenge. One installer and three technical assistants, in the presence of reporters and under judges' supervision, explained rules of the competition. Along the route the pallets with cable trays RKS-Magic were located as well as control marks every 50 meters.
Place:
Aiport slab in Poland, Ostrów Maz.
Date:
29.07.2014
Target:
1km of RKS-Magic route in less than 1h
Conditions:
Only one installer and three technical assistants
Electrical continuity of the whole route
Ready...Steady...Go...!!
After 48 minutes 41 seconds, so 11 minutes 19 seconds below assumed time World Record was set. It is a great success, is there any one to beat the record? And now, the most important - to acknowledge the record the route must keep electrical continuity in full length of 1 kilometer. Standards specify maximal impedance of 50 mΩ for only one connection. The measurement was made three times, the first was 22 mΩ and the average was 36 mΩ, thus the record is valid.
