In Filthy Fingers maker Apollonia Duijster condemns the taboo about masturbation among girls. By letting girlfriends talk about it, she tries to figure out how far you may go in means of sharing this information. But also: are the things I do weird or filthy, or does everyone do them? In just 15 minutes a big problem is being treated with a humorous edge. A documentary short film where women talk about masturbation. Published for the International Women's Day 2019. I made this short film 3 years ago in my 3rd year of Film School. It was the first film I was actually proud of and it has run a couple of Dutch festivals ever since. My main goal with the film though was to create awareness for this topic for a wider audience, so I knew I had to upload it to the internet some day. In honour of all women, I think this is the perfect day. I ask the girls questions such as: How did you learn about masturbation? And how often should you masturbate? Do you watch porn? Which finger do you use? Nothing is left unmentioned. You even see my orgasm!
