A Women convicted of Sorcery is executed in Saudi Arabia.
The execution happened Monday according to the Saudi Interior Ministry
Londons al-Hayat daily, quoted Chief of the Religous Police Abdullah al-Mohsen, who arrested the women.
They said she tricked individuals and made them believe she could treat sickness, for $800 a session.
Apparently the woman in her 60's was arrested 2009 and then later convicted in a Saudi court.
The beheading was execution number 73 for Saudi Arabia this year.
Saudi Arabia voted against
a UN General Assembly resolution this last December calling for a freeze on executions
according to The rights group.
Murder, Rape, Robbery, Drug Trafficking and Apostasy are all punishable by death
under Saudi Arabia's law.
