Woman arrested in relation to death of 17 yo Māngere local

A woman has been arrested and charged with murder in relation to the death of 17-year-old Demetrius Pairama at a property in Māngere on July 7. The 28-year-old is due to appear in Manukau District Court today. Family of the deceased told 1 News the cause of her death was unknown, but they believed the teenager struggled and that DNA was found under her finger nails. Police say they're yet to rule out further arrests in relation to the death as enquiries remain ongoing.
