TEMESCAL CANYON - A woman airlifted to the hospital after she injured her ankle while hiking.
The incident happened along the Temescal Canyon hiking trail around 12:15 PM. The woman was not rescued until around 1:50 PM. She had to be airlifted due to the long hike paramedics were unable to do. The woman was in distress and fractured an ankle. She was transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. No one else was hurt.
