Windows 7: How to force a REAL blue screen of death error (not a fake picture)

Even though this is technically harmless, it can be a little risky (especially if you do this while Windows is installing automatic updates). Click show more! and PLEASE READ the Description! I'll try to do better video editing in future YouTube Videos. (Note: This may no longer work without process hacker 2. Credit goes to the creators of process hacker 2! Google it and download it. Download link below. Be sure to run it as an admin. It is like a more advanced task manager. End csrss.exe with it and it will do the same result like in the video!) Process hacker can be found here: http://processhacker.sourceforge.net/ Instructions: To make a harmless and real blue screen of death (BSOD), right click the taskbar, click start task manager, click process tabs, click show processes from all users, right click csrss.exe and click end process. Check abandon unsaved data and shutdown, then click shutdown. Restart your pc and it's normal again. If it says access denied, be sure "Show processes from all users" is checked. If it is checked and that issue still happens, try using process hacker 2 (more advanced version of task manager, just google it) to end csrss.exe. NOTE: I did NOT create process hacker 2. Credits goes to the creators of this program. If the blue screen comes up and restarts immediately after a second, then you need to go to Advanced system properties in control panel, go to advanced tab, click settings on startup and recovery, and unselect "automatically restart". If you have Windows XP, download process hacker 2 and then terminate csrss.exe and when you restart, you should be fine. So, if you want a harmless but scary way to prank someone, just be sure to save all of their work if they are in the middle of something, then do it behind them and leave the blue screen of death on and go. Then tell them that they probably got a virus.
