When we finished getting all our footage, Dmitry noticed a strong headwind that we would be flying against and we would be cutting it close on fuel. To play it safe, he wanted to find somewhere to land and fuel up before making the trek back home. Luckily there was an open stretch on the Alaska Highway and a gas station in sight that we were able to land and tax in to fill it up with gas. We never thought we'd experience something like this! So glad it all worked out safely and we made it back to our little girl.
