Why Was Warlords A Failure?

With WoW down to 5.6 million subs and the expansion announcement tomorrow, it's time to put Warlords of Draenor behind us! Let's put our most recent expansion under the magnifying glass and see exactly what went wrong. Remember that during this expansion WoW rose above 10 million subscribers for the first time since WotLK, but Q1 earnings put us just over 7 million and the recent Q2 earnings poked us down further to 5.6.
