Why Someone Paid $120,000 for This Banana

Would you pay $120,000 for this work of art? It is literally what it looks like: a banana duct-taped to the wall. The alleged work of art was featured at Art Basel in Miami and was created by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, who also has a reputation as a prankster. He calls his work "comedian” and in a few days it's sure to go rotten. Two of these duct taped banana pieces have already sold and the artist expects a third to go for more money.
