Why My Sons WILL NOT be Circumcised (& VIDEO OF CIRCUMCISION)

I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with my second son and this video goes into why I am so thankful I woke up to the reality of circumcision before having my sons. https://www.facebook.com/kassiewestdill/ https://twitter.com/kassiedill/ https://www.instagram.com/kassiedillwest/ https://thesteelechronicles.com/ My husband's comments on this video: "Here my wife talks about why we aren't circumcising out sons. I realized years before I'd ever even met her that I'd never circumcise my sons, so it blows me away how many people just uncritically circumcise their sons without thinking about how weird it really is. This really is something you should think about before you have kids. (And it's something you should decide NOT to do to your sons!) You don't have to be one of these weirdos who wallows in self pity about the fact that they were circumcised to recognize that you shouldn't circumcise your sons. I'm circumcised, and my parents shouldn't have done that, but I couldn't really care less that I am and I don't feel like there's anything wrong my penis because I am. There's just no reason to circumcise your kids. It's nothing but a tradition that people—including doctors—try desperately to justify because they lack the confidence to criticize their own penis. As Kassie points out in the video (through an analogy that I gave to her! ?), arguing that circumcision has "benefits" and therefore we should do it to our sons is like arguing that we should pull out all our kids' big toenails and cauterize them so they don't grow back because that will prevent ingrown toenails. It's an absolutely asinine argument. From a religious perspective, while 1 Corinthians 7:18 isn't straight up saying not to circumcise your kids, it's not at all a stretch to derive that principle from it. "Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision." - 1 Corinthians 7:18" - David West
