I recall fondly the British Guy Fawkes Nights of my youth. However, little did I know it at the time, but the 2008 iteration of Guy Fawkes Night would be my last for a very long time. You see, five days later, I moved to the United States of America, where it quickly became clear that no such celebration existed.
