Every Exercise is good but is deadlifts in your motocross program?
When weight training for motocross strength training has to be in your training program.
If you have followed supercross recently, you saw Eli Tomac fall down in the turn in New Jersey.
He had to basically deadlift the bike up the turn in order to get the bike upright.
If something like that was to happen similar to Tomac you have to have strength in order to pick the bike up when you are in the middle of a ride.
Deadlifts are a great exercise to develop lower body strength as well as back strength.
Exercises that compliment the deadlift are squats, shoulder press, and bench press. All of these exercises together help create a well-rounded athlete.
Apply these exercise into your motocross program so that you can develop the strength needed for those unfortunate times in motocross.
