I love the Philippines. I treasure the experiences I had living and working there, and especially the lifelong friends I've made. I'm excited to visit again next year as a guest judge for the 5th annual VisPop competition. I spent three years as a single "white guy" living in the Philippines, and was surprised by the cultural landscape I uncovered in regards to dating as a foreigner.
