Join professional investor David Buckland as he compares the ASX against international stocks. Are there better opportunities for investors overseas? In this video David compares the number of stock buying opportunities on the ASX and Global exchanges. Here's what he found: - The ASX is dominated by only a few sectors. Australia's Big 4 banks (CBA, WBC, NAB and ANZ) and Energy/Resources (Including BHP, RIO and WPL) account for more than 50% of the Aussie market. - Energy and Resource companies are at the mercy of fluctuating commodity prices. - The ASX offers little or no exposure to global technology stocks, global healthcare businesses or the world's largest industrial stocks, such as American Express and Coca-Cola (KO). - The majority of the ASX is made up of small companies (with a Market Capitalisation of less than $300M) and companies who did not make a profit last year.
