What's new in the Desync Beta? [PAYDAY 2]

Desync is an issue as old as time itself, or at least since PAYDAY 2 launched. Has OVERKILL finally slain this beast? Minor correction, LUA mods don't work due to a change to LUAJIT, and not specifically to get clean test results.
