After a marathon trial that began last September, a jury has now been asked to decide if three former Montreal, Maine and Atlantic (MMA) railway employees are guilty of criminal negligence causing the deaths of 47 people when a runaway train derailed and exploded in July 2013.Now that the jury is sequestered and is beginning its deliberations, CBC News is free to report on arguments and motions that had been subject to a publication ban.
