Penile vein Thrombosis also called as Mondor's disease. It's a very rare disease, which is associated with pain with the in-duration on the dorsal part of the base of the penis it can involve any of the venous tributaries of the Penis, extending from the base of the Gland to the pubic symphysis it can involve dorsal veins penis, deep veins penis, caverns veins and sponzicial veins penis. The main other disease which mimics is same as that is peyronei's disease. They do have treatment but this Mondor's disease do not have a treatment, detecting identifying this disease is very important and what is the cause of this disease, trauma, excessive sexual activity or an abstinence or constructing rings use during erection sexual practices or internal malignances because of the pelvic tumor or malignancy in the head of the pancreas is the proposed for this Mondor's disease. How it is diagnosed, how it is clinically look like, usually comes with the pain and feeling of a cord like thing on the basis of penis, on examination you feel like an indurated string like thing on the base of the Penis, which is threats to the skin with mild with or without tenderness is only present with no limp nodes or any other things. It is detected by using a Doppler ultrasonography which characteristically identifies the segmental thrombosis in the segment of the dorsal vein of the penis. It is treated, it is basically presents as an acute subacute electronic way and it is self-limiting disease extending from 8 to 10 weeks and after 8 to 10 weeks it will go off on its own with or without a treatment. But treat as symptomatically till end we give treatment like Jaiclofenic sodium to treat the pain and an antibiotic treat prevent the secondary infection and low dose Aspirin to as an anticoagulant and heparin cream to dissolve thrombosis through may have not specific treatment, they acts as a symptomatic pleasure of treatment till it resolves and if the pain is severe we can give local injection has a 0.5%. befiokin where which will elevate the pain. Sometimes even this treatment or refractory you can consider lumpectomy with surgical excision of the strip of the vein.
