What is a macro in MS Excel

Well, VBA or Visual Basic for Applications is a programming language. Like any other language such as English, French or German it has its own grammar. You'll need to learn the grammar which is really not difficult. When we use the Visual Basic editor and write a program or set of instructions in VBA we create a macro. The macro has a name as you'll see in the video. I have made the video using Excel 2003 because in Excel 2007 and 2010 the interface is easier to use.
