Simona Peteva studies ecosystems in populated areas. Based on her studies, she covers the importance in a city's natural and urban environment balance. Simona Peteva is a PhD candidate in Ecology and Ecosystem Conservation at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". In 2016 she won second place in "Natural sciences" at the "Student of the Year" competition for Sofia University. Author of 6 scientific publications in Balkan and international journals. Member of the prestigious Association for Innovative Development. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
