This time we are driving around Belgrade in a Yugo, a classic Yugoslavian vehicle from 1977, discovering the rise and fall of Yugoslavia with a local. This is one of the greatest things to do in Belgrade if you're planning a Belgrade trip in 2020. The main reason being, you get to learn about the history of the former Yugoslavia... from a local! - Plus, you can transport yourself back to te 70s and drive in a Yugo! On the tour, you visit some great locals in New Belgrade such as Hotel Yugoslavia, formerly a 5* hotel which played host to world leaders and personalities including Queen Elizabeth, Alfred Hitchcock and Richard Nixon. You visit the Museum of Yugoslavia and learn about Tito, the former leader of Yugoslavia as well as the site of a former concentration camp and the twin towers of Genex Kula.
