Water main breaks in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The city of Grand Rapids is working to fix a water main break that occurred early Saturday morning. The main area affected is Blaine Ave and Kalamazoo Avenue between Adams Street and Evergreen Street SE. A Grand Rapids water official tells 24 Hour News 8 a 24 inch water main broke after 6 a.m. Saturday. The water pipe feeds water to residential homes in the area. Officials say few homes in the area lost water, but a few homes on Adams Street did have their basements flooded b
