Rare amateur footage filmed by Prince William of Gloucester on a private visit to the set of Battle of Britain is to be screened for the first time, showing behind-the-scenes of the 1969 war epic.
Prince William, the Queen’s cousin who died in a plane crash in 1972, made a personal visit to the set at Duxford airfield in the 1960s to watch the film, starring Sir Laurence Olivier and Sir Michael Caine, being shot.
