Watch Me Soar

Stephanie Burkett Gerson singing Scott Alan's "Watch Me Soar" at the Duplex for the benefit concert findmyvoice.org I decided to pick "Watch Me Soar" for BWW Series Songs From My Living Room to showcase my talent because I feel like the words in this song have been what my life has been about the past three years. From dealing with family problems I have become a woman. I am no longer that young girl singing behind a mic in a dress. I have grown and learned that life continues to have ups and downs and its how you respond to " the downs" in life to bring you back to "the ups" which is were I am now. I want to let people know that no matter what people tell you in your life, you are the only one the creates your story on how you handle the bad and how it can turn into the good. Your life will eventually turn around if you have faith that it will. Three years later today my family is reunited, safe and alive. I am so thankful for where my life is now and I want to continue to let people know I am soaring into what I've always dreamed my life would be. Thank you for your consideration. Stephanie
