Watching the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) launch all of its fighters during "the final flight operations in direct support of Operation Inherent Resolve" is pretty freaking amazing. According to the Department of Defense, "the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the area supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, conducting maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, and theater security cooperation efforts."
