Wab 794 Visits The Pahiatua Railcar Society - 2015

(New Zealand) A Feilding SteamRail excursion hauled by 794 arrives at Pahiatua. Passengers are then free to have a good look around the railcar societie's yard and workshops and enjoy the hospitality of the society members. 'Standard' railcar RM 31 is giving short rides the length of the Pahiatua Yard. 'Tin Hare' railcar RM 5 is on display in the workshop and is looking beautiful as it nears the end of it's restoration. 794 is serviced before sitting on display for a time. After a while it is moved to the opposite end of the train ready for the run back to Feilding. This video also illustrates the massive Dairy Factory expansion being undertaken at Pahiatua, which will future-proof this line by the railfreight that will be generated.
