Volcano Update | Closed For The Season!

After recent concerns with Volcano to be closed indefinitely, I finally am here to bring you both, good and bad news, Volcano: The Blast Coaster will not be reopening for the rest of the 2018 season due to problems with the launch system and other maintenance issues, but it's scheduled to open back up for the 2019 season. No official word has been released on the full problems, but due to my network of sources, I was able to find out the main stuff this coaster, check it out now for some surprises you may not have known about. Designed by Werner Stengel and built by Intamin, Volcano was the world's first inverted roller coaster to feature an linear induction motor (LIM) and is the only one of its kind that completes a full circuit. The roller coaster opened to the public on August 3, 1998. A portion of the ride is enclosed inside a man-made Volcano.
