The sitcom was called "Pete & Gladys" and was spun off of a late 1950's sitcom, which was named "December Bride". This commercial was a cast commercial for Post 40% Bran Flakes, and was seen on "December Bride." Post was the sponsor for "December Bride". "Pete & Gladys" went a different direction. Their sponsors were Kellogg's & Carnation milk.
