Video From the John Muir Trail

Beginning on August 5th, 2012 I set out to solo hike the 211 mile John Muir Trail that runs throughout the Sierra Nevada Range from Yosemite National Park to Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the continental United States (14,505'). I finished in 14 days on August 18th, 2012. The project: Moving Mountains is an organization that I created to help bring light to others lives by embarking on a challenge. Through this challenge I was able to platform my hike as not only a self transforming trek, but a trek to benefit others. I choose to benefit Central Africa, specifically areas affected by the L.R.A led by Joseph Kony, and am funneling my support and money raised through fundraising to Invisible Children, Inc. This video will give you a look at where I spent my time while hiking. Hopefully it will inspire you to get outside and find a way to make a difference.
