Vardaat: U-turn in Budaun 'rape-murder' case (PT-1)

Four months ago, the 'rape-cum-murder' of two cousin sisters in Budaun district in Uttar Pradesh had shocked the world. However, the probe into their deaths has taken a u-turn as the prime and lone witness — an associate of the families of the two cousins who were killed and “like an uncle” to them — failed the lie detector test. This comes a month after the fathers of the two girls also failed the polygraph test. Two policemen and three brothers were arrested in the case based on the 'uncle's statement.
