USS Emory S Land Arrives in Vallejo, CA

On Thursday, May 31, the U.S.S. Emory S. Land AS-39, a U.S. Navy submarine tender, arrived in Vallejo, California for maintenance with Mare Island Dry Dock, LLC.. This marks the first time an active Navy ship has berthed at the shipyard since the early 1990’s. Encumbered with around 400 sailors, the Emory will remain in Vallejo for approximately 100 days as she undergoes repairs at the shipyard. Be sure to come out wearing Red, White & Blue and bring American Flags to show your support for the brave men and women serving our country.
