Using & Adding NEW Watch Faces (Step by Step) to Willful SW018 (GV68) Bluetooth Smartwatch

After playing around with this cool smartwatch I was able to add tons of new watch faces to it making it even better. (See below for the UPDATED LINK to faces) Bluetooth (Setup & Connection & Sync) This is the 1st thing I am pointing out as I think without it the watch will be very limited. At 1st, I thought I was connected to my watch to my phone as the bluetooth symbol had the two arrows around it but the watch was not synced properly (as the manual calls it was not bidirectional connection but more like a one way connection thus, showing a blue Bluetooth symbol on the watch) so I was only able to access some but not all the functions. So this is how I got it to work (e.g. bidirectional connection) and ever since I had no problem: (it took me a while to figure this out so this is good place for you to know the right steps if you have any problem pairing it): (1) Install the Fundo Wear app (I have a Galaxy S6 Edge with Android 7) from play store (2) then make sure the Bluetooth is on on the watch (3) BUT don't try to connect to your phone from the watch. (4) Also DON'T connect to the Bluetooth from the phone setting. (5) Just turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone (6) THEN go to the app and on the first page of it tap on the Bluetooth Radio Button then find and tap on the watch name from the list (It should be GV68 assuming this is the first time you are connecting to it and you never changed the name) (6) That's when you see on top bar of your phone BOTH Bluetooth symbol with two arrows (showing the Bluetooth is connected) AND a new symbol of a Bluetooth symbol on a phone (this is the app symbol showing it's smart function is connected) (7) Also that's when you see on the watch a Bluetooth symbol that its background color is GREEN from top to BLUE to the bottom (showing the watch is fully connected as it can be partially connected as well but if partially connected some functions won't work) (8) Only when you see the symbols from step 6 AND 7 all the functions work and if you are in (or enter) the app you'll see a short message (that disappears in 2-3 seconds) saying sync is complete. (9) At this point if you check your phone bluetooth settings you should see TWO GV68 davices in the paired devices one with a keyboard symbol next to it (at least on android 7) this is the one that the phone should be currently connected to and there is another one with a mobile/device symbol (at least on android 7) which is not connected but should be there. INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO CHANGE THE FACE: The watch LCD has a high resolution in comparison with other comparable watches and if you like to have a different watch every once in a while and like to customize do as I tell you in the following steps: (1) Go to watchfacezone or coolwatchfaces dot com (UPDATED! The old site closed!) and from the top menu pick "VXP Watch/Clock Faces" there you get to see SO MANY different watch faces that work with this watch and the list of them getting bigger everyday. (2) Find the watch face that you like and click download and then click download again to get a ZIP file. (3) Uncompressed/Unzip/Extract the ZIP file (4) If you have installed the Fundo Wear uninstall (temporarily) it because for some reason this app (v. 3.0 at least, maybe that changes in the later updates) doesn't show the new watch faces when we place it in the designated app folder. We need to install another app (which can't be installed unless you uninstall Fundo Wear as they can't be both installed at the same time) that works with this device which shows those new files but the alternative app is only good for uploading new watch faces to this watch and nothing else as it's very basic. (5) Go to play store and download "Mediatek Smart Device" (6) need to extract (unzip) the downloaded watch face file, and then copy all files in appmanager folder on your smartphone. (Don't copy the folder, just copy the 3 files in the zip file) (7) You should see the watch faces in the mediatek app in "my applications" (8) Don't uninstall the default faces. The watch has a limited memory but depending on the faces you can add 3-8 new faces here (9) Mediatek app is only good for adding new faces at the moment (and fundo wear for everything else). Once you add new faces you can uninstall and reinstall the fundo wear for the rest of the functions.
