US accused of operating secret prisons in Afghanistan

Hamid Karzai is accusing US led coalition forces of operating secret detention facilities in Afghanistan. A commission appointed by the Afghan president supposedly found six such facilities on coalition bases in southern Afghanistan, according to the New York Times. The US denied the accusations of the leader who has been a frequent critic of the detention of Afghan citizens by coalition forces, saying every facility is disclosed to the government and the Red Cross.
