Upper Muley Twist: Capitol Reef's best hike

Hiking Upper Muley Twist canyon, in the less visited southern part of Utah's Capitol Reef. Upper Muley makes for a great and varied full day hike, with the highlight being the amazing panorama of the desert from the canyon rim. Best tackled in spring or fall - the summer is too hot - it's my favorite hike in the National Park.
