On the 5th January, 2013, the United Nations Security Council opened its doors for renowned French film director Bertrand Tavernier, who, along with leading man, actor Thierry Lhermitte, shot a crucial scene for the upcoming feature film "Quai d'Orsay." The movie, which Tavernier says is a "dark comedy" is inspired by the famous French comic book of the same name, which chronicles the story of the French Foreign Ministry's inner workings at a moment of international crisis- the beginning of the war in Iraq. Lhermitte plays former French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin, delivering Villepin's famous speech about the French stance on the Iraq war.
