I decided to keep it in the DB. Writing it in a video will take away from the story. So for those of you who dont want to read this story anymore cuz its in the DB, then idk. Its still the same story whether its in a video or not. I would just rather focus on the meaning of the story and the use of detail and words rather than worrying about what picture to use for Demi and what font it should be written in =/ ---------------------------------------- -------- Miley closed her mouth immediately after the words had escaped, regretting that she spoke. "Oh, I couldnt—" "Shed love to get a lawyer. Thank you" Taylor interrupted, sinking her teeth into a warm bagel. Mileys head began to spin as she took a seat, holding her tray on her lap. "My uncle is a lawyer. Im sure he wouldnt mind having you as his client" she replied, licking her dry lips. Her shoulders began to shake with nerves. Was she actually making friends? "I dont know. I mean, what if something happens before I can take this to court?" Selena asked, her mocha orbs meeting Mileys nervous pools of blue. "Hey, why dont we just go back to my house and call Mileys uncle there?" Taylor polished off her second cup of coffee before handing Miley the bill. She placed it in her apron pocket and smiled. "My shift ends in five. Can you wait for me till then?" she asked, curiosity taking over her tone. "Sure" said Selena, not sure if she was liking this idea. ```````````````````````````````````````` ``````````` "Are you Joe Jonas?" a girl asked, leaning against the lamp post. "That depends. Are you Demi Lovato?" he asked, a grin growing from ear to ear. Demi clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she smiled. "You caught me!" A giggle escaped her soft lips, flooding through Joes ears. Her voice was soft and smooth. Almost melodic as her giggle began to sound like a song in his mind, sweet and quiet. He handed her a few bags filled with a white substance. Her giggle faded, bringing darkness to the alleyway once more. Most people who came to meet him where depressed and hushed, dragging their feet to get to him. Either that or theyd shake nervously, hoping they wouldnt get caught. His experience with selling drugs was well skilled, you could say. Hes yet to get caught. "Thank you" she replied, her eyes gleaming. Lost in his thoughts, he snapped back into reality, happy to be staring at the beauty In front of him again. She looked well kept compared to most who walked through, not seeming like one to be stocking up on drugs. But she was new, he knew that for a fact. She wasnt a long time costumer, but new faces always amazed him. Especially if they looked the way Demi did. Her loose, brunette waves falling to her chest. Those chocolate brown eyes of her that seem to light up the room when matched with her white smile. He could hear her sing-song voice from a mile away. But one question had flooded his mind. Why was she buying drugs? "Is everything alright?" she asked, placing the bags into her pockets. "Uh, yeah sorry. Can I ask you something?" He wasnt sure if it would be polite to ask, but why not give it a shot? "Uh, sure. Yeah go ahead." She shifted her weight onto her right thigh, waiting for Joes response. She had to admit, he was cute. There was something about him. "Why are you doing this to yourself?" he wondered, pointing to the bags that were stuffed in her pockets. Demi stood up straight, taken aback by the question. She began to feel uncomfortable. The brick walls of the alley seemed to be closing in on her as her breathing began to quicken. "Hey, are you okay?" Joe asked, taking a step closer to her. She looked scared and it all brought a sense of worry over him. "Can we talk about this somewhere else? Like my place?" Demi asked, already walking out of the alley. "Yeah, sure" Joe called out, following close behind. He wasnt sure what to expect from someone like her. She may seem like a happy, pretty girl on the outside. But who knows what her life is really like. A smile was a simple way to hide the crappy feeling people get deep down. Joe would be one to know these things
