UT99 (beta version, just for fun), developed by Epic Megagames, released in November 1999, running on 100% original hardware from 1996/early1997. You might notice some differences in this level compared to the final version of the game. Short video to test the new videograbber. It's not set up flawless yet, the image is slightly shifted and leaps and boundsthere are some audio problems. The quality is already far better than anything I could record with the camcorder. When there are no bots around, the performance is surprisingly good. It's not the enemy model that kills the FPS, it's the AI, but running through an empty level would be boring. The audio skips while the level is loading, even though the game is installed on a seperate HDD. Detailed System Specs: intel Pentium P55C 200MMX@233MHz 128MB 60ns 72pin EDO RAM Asus P55T2P4 Rev 3.10 Mainboard Miro Highscore 3D with 3DFX Voodoo1 and 6MB RAM Matrox Mystique with 4MB RAM Creative SoundBlaster AWE32 with Yamaha DB60XG The system uses hardware components that were available in late 1996 or early 1997. I'll probably redo the SystemShock2 video with the new grabber since the audio was really awful with the camcorder.
