United States Marine Marksmanship Training

U.S. Marines from 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, CA., hone their marksmanship skills during Exercise Angel Thunder 2013. Angel Thunder (AT) is the world's largest Personnel Recovery (PR) exercise, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), which affirms Personnel Recovery as "One of the Highest Priorities." AT provides the most realistic PR training environment available to USAF Rescue forces, as well as their Joint, Inter-agency, and International partners from Colombia, Brazil to Uruguay. AT is collaborating with Air Force Special Operation Command's Emerald Warrior and the US Navy 3rd Fleet JWFC Training and Exercise, and the U.S. Army and Air Force Reserve's Global Medic exercises.
