The unique ride you can have aboard the now unique open-top double-deck Bournemouth Corporation Transport 1935 Sunbeam MS2 / Park Royal trolleybus 202 (ALJ 986).
One of just three double-decker trolleybuses converted by Bournemouth to open top in 1958, it is now the only survivor.
In the open top deck, you clearly hear the sounds of the trolley boom's skates as they slide along the overhead wires, clacking and clicking on various pieces of overhead as we pass along. A one-off unique experience!
In this video, I'm aboard as we make two circuits of the track at the East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville.
On the first round trip, I'm holding the camera to show the trolley booms' skates as they run along the overhead wires, a sight uniquely seen only from this open-top trolleybus from so close. On the second trip, I look forwards as usual.
