I've been mentioning this project in mailbag videos as the materials trickled in . Now that I've got everything, I have no more excuses to avoid actually doing it. The electronics are trivially easy on this one. It's the mechanical stuff and especially the contortions I had to get into while mounting everything that were the biggest hardship. The LED strip came from Banggood: https://www.banggood.com/5M-WhiteWarm-White-5630-SMD-Non-waterproof-300-LEDs-Strip-light-12V-p-922423.html?cur_warehouse=CN And the rest of the materials came from Ebay: Switches: https://www.ebay.ca/sch/sis.html?_nkw=5PCS%20Mini%206A%20125VAC%20SPDT%20MTS%20102%203%20Pin%202%20Position%20On%20on%20Toggle%20Switches%20Practic&_itemId=162582421240 Silicone straps for holding LED strips: https://www.ebay.ca/sch/sis.html?_nkw=10X+12mm+Silicon+Clip+for+Fixing+5050+5630+Single+Color+LED+Strip+rj%23&_id=292445453051&&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2658 boxes (from way back in mailbag #3): https://www.ebay.ca/itm/262778260991 ----- https://www.patreon.com/pileofstuff ----- As with all of my videos, this isn't the only way to do it. It's probably not the best way to do it. But it's how I do it.
