Author, critic, and essayist Carmen Maria Machado’s National Book Award short listed debut short story collection Her Body and Other Parties (Graywolf Press) has been described as “a strong, dangerous, and blisteringly honest book,” “full of urgent, almost unbearable reality.” Machado was joined in conversation by author Tony Tulathimutte (Private Citizens).
