Unassisted Home Birth.

My daughter planned having an unassisted delivery at home. She wanted to deliver at home. She didn’t want her labor being rushed unnaturally with medication, being stuck in a hospital bed, stuck with an IV in her arm. Wanting to have delayed cord cutting and skin to skin after her baby was born. She wanted to cherish every moment with her boyfriend and 3 year old daughter. No bright lights, no nurses taking her baby away to weigh, measure and wash her. And everything else that happens in a hospital delivery room. I’m happy to say she had a perfect delivery without any complications. I understand this isn’t for everyone and I respect that. So I ask that you also respect her decision on having a home birth.
