Ukrainian Canadian singer Myroslava Verbytska (1934-2012) recorded some of Bohdan Vesolovsky's best songs, including "Yak tebe ne liubyty", "Sertse" and "Vsi moyi mriyi". Verbytska was born in Montreal of Ukrainian immigrants from Western Ukraine and lived all her life in this Canadian city. She studied singing with the famous Canadian singer of Jewish origin, Sarah Fischer, and won many singing competitions. A wonderful lyric soprano, she was active in the Ukrainian community and performed at many concerts and operas. The celebrated Ukrainian-Canadian composer Bohdan Vesolovsky loved her voice and recorded many of his songs with her in the Montreal RCA Victor recording studios.
